+288 Might take a good while but eventually we will run out of space to bury our dead, amirite?

Hence, cremation!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

not everyone wants to be cremated

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well it's probably a better option than being put in whatever garbage disposal humans come up with if we do ever run out of room.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well not to be a complete asshole, but so what? By that point there's not a whole hell of a lot they can do about the situation. What, are they gonna object?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Not everyone wants to be dead.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No, we will just have bunk bed coffins

by Anonymous 12 years ago

More room for activities!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Enough new earth will be created to give us space. It might take a really really long time but it will.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

And then the zombie apocalypse will come when dumbasses start trying to experiment with cadavers! Awesome!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

People do biodegrade...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

yes, but coffins don't

by Anonymous 12 years ago

In the time frame mentioned here even metal ones would rust away.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Have you ever been to New Mexico?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

you DO realize that New Mexico is land, right?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You do realize that this obvious statement is irrelevant until you elaborate, right?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

okay... o_o

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Really? I was pretty sure New Mexico was the name of an ocean. hmm

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yes . . . why?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I think bodies are decomposing at a pretty resonable rate

by Anonymous 12 years ago

We cab A) Send them into space Or B) Eat them with salsa.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'm kind of shocked that so many people haven't accepted cremation. In my corner of the world, people don't even CONSIDER cremating bodies, because it goes against their moral or religious code. I myself am an atheist, so when people try to argue that it's "inhumane", I just silently think, "but...they're dead...."

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Did u know its cheaper to have a "burial" in space than it is to actually bury them here?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

shoot them into space

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah but then dead people would be all photobombing our hubble telescope photos

by Anonymous 12 years ago

There's Mars, and over there's the big dipper and what do you know, there's my grandfather!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Exactly! Grandpa's all trollin up into famous pictures

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Apparently in one country (I'm sorry i can't remember which one) after like 8 years once the body is just bones they dig up the bodies again and give them to the family or something. Kind of creepy but would save on space.
