no it just seems like that cause it learns all of its words and phrases from people talking to it. It says its not cleverbot because that is what people tell it since most people arent cleverbots. It learns that phrase and then repeats it.

I get the feeling that you believe everything you hear.. or read for that matter. Just because the website SAYS its a robot, does not mean it is. I did an experiment and every couple posts asked 'cleverbot' where it was from and got different answers everytime. I then had conversations with the users about how cleverbot is fake..

im not going off what the website said. I know it seems alot like its just another person, but then why would it have (mostly) perfect grammar and spelling And of course it said it lives somewhere different everytime. If it gets words and phrases from real humans tnat live in different places that tell it they live in those different places, then it could say all those places. If you sed i live on the moon it wud know that that is an 'appropriate' answer to that question and it cud be 1 of the answers he says if u ask it that

I've talked to 'cleverbot' where it misses letters and uses slang. Other times it uses correct grammar..im assuming because all people don't use slang. I'm just saying, if you think about what i said and go on cleverbot.. you might start to see what im talking about.

yes but this is the internet. Ive yet to see cleverbot us horrible grammar and spelling like most ppl on the internet use. And i also doubt that the person who made it, who has madce several other real chatterbots that have won several awards would fuck up his reputation by making a fake chatterbot. Cleverbot itself has won chatterbot awards and i doubt they would let some fake website win a chatterbot award.

and that makes u think its not a bot Because it doesnt answer ur questions correctly Id think a human would be able to answer a simple question. All this thing does is pick a phrase that it learned from some1 else talking to it and thinks makes sense and uses it

It's because apparently it switches users every couple posts. And if it IS cleverbot then what the hell is it useful for if it can't answer questions?! It just randomly says crap..

it wud be stupid and pointless for someone to go through all this trouble just to make a fake site. Especially for someone who has made several other chatterbots. If he is perfectly capable of making a chatterbot why would he make a fake one And as for it not answering qestions correctly, its not finished. Besides, it learns from ppl on the internet. Of course its an idiot.
