Neopets totally killed their website. The pet conversions, mass marketing, and intense censorship on the boards... amirite?

I used to love Neopets... but since I was terrible at everything in it, I could never get my dream pets.

They redrew all of the pets in the same boring pose so they could add a dress-up feature. Some pets managed to avoid getting converted, so they can get traded for other really nice pets.

I distinctly recall people pissing me off on the boards but I don't remember why - being stupid, I guess, and also people who'd report a perfectly decent, polite, religion conversation. Bastards.

Weezego32. I only got on the boards because my dad faxed in the form for it. Hung with the Warriors-obsessed crowd most of the time, and with an Altador Cup group when that time of year rolled around.

I think I stopped playing sometime around my tenth birthday. Neopets used to be something innocent and entertaining for kids. You know, before they added the whole, "Hey! Buy these cards and cheat at getting neopoints!" kind of thing. Oh, the days when you had to work for those millions of neopoints.
