Yup. There are some friends of mine whom I absolutely love but who just...don't understand this concept. It's like, "No, I don't know who X is, either, but I at least know that they're either a singer or a band because people are talking about their latest album. Use context clues. You don't have to outright ask, 'Who is X?'"
