You love it when people spell favorite and color with U's, amirite?

why...?

So you love Australians...?
by Anonymous13 years ago
:) I do that, but I'm Aussie so not sure if that counts.
by Anonymous13 years ago
yes aussies are awesome :)
by Anonymous13 years ago
aussies ftw
silly americans who are too lazy to spell properly so they take out letters
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yes, it's actually an integral part of the English language -- which originated in Britain. If you were to spell 'colour', 'favourite' or 'honour' without the 'u', you'd get marks deducted for bad spelling.

Maybe its because it's the correct spelling?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Well that IS the normal,British spelling lol- it's only in the US that you scratch the Us off.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Canadians spell those words like that, too :P
by Anonymous13 years ago
yeahh~ go canadians~
by Anonymous13 years ago

England FTW!

Not everything revolves around America...and just because it's not done the American way doesn't mean it's wrong.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Because it's the correct spelling.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yes I do happen to love it, mainly because its correct, but also because it occasionally pisses Americans off who don't know how to spell and decide to leave the good old U's out. I mean what did they ever do to you? :O Haha it is "English" that you are speaking and writing after all.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Well it IS technically right as English came from England/Britain... And being hat they spell it that way well....
