Animals do talk, they just communicate in a different way. Plants talk to and actually have feelings too, they communicate chemically. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmD-RTmNBUA This video is about a plant hooked to a polygraph (lie detector) and changes were noted when the experimenter thought about doing harmful things to the plant. Its actually very interesting. The bottom line is, we have to consume living things to live-every living thing does. That is the circle of life, and just because you dont eat meat doesnt mean you are sparing a living thing of pain.
