+62 People from England, Australia and New Zealand should say "po-TAH-toe" instead of 'po-TAY-toe" giving the fact that they say "to-MAH-toe" instead of "to-MAY-toe", amirite?

I agree with AgaDoo, Americans say Tom-May-Toe and Poh-Tah-Toe, and I don't want to be american. :l

lol! We don't say po-tah-toe in America xD It has nothing to do with being American. It just makes more sense because you guys say to-mah-toe, so you might as well say po-tah-toe ...

my dad is from england and he says po tah to and to mah to. i think it must depend on the person. like how some people pronounce carribbean differently and carmel and caramel

I'm from Australia and i'm pretty sure them being different is the whole point - hence the expression 'to-MAY-to, to-MAH-to, po-TAY-to, po-TAH-to''.

What I'M saying is: If you say "To-MAH-toe", why don't you say "Po-TAH-toe"?
