I play the viola... It's a hella great instrument. And the squeak-fest the violin gives off is annoying..

Violins really aren't that squeaky, unless your just awful or goofing off, plus i'd rather play higher nots than lower notes. Violins are somewhat smaller, making them easier to hold up/ carry. Violins are the hardest of the stringed instruments BECAUS OF these so called 'squeaky' notes. Who said your a fag? anyone who can play an instrument is talented, and you shouldn't just attack the violin.

I have to agree with the post on top, i play the violin, the music makes us play those 'squeaky notes' cause we are the only one able to in strings. Anyway just because someone called you a fag don't take it on the violin take it on the person who called you a fag.
