If you're a 16 year old girl whose under 5ft and very self conscious about it, it should be acceptable to wear heels and not be considered a slut, amirite?

well... that should be acceptable anyway! I am 16 as well, but I'm 5'11" and I wish I had more leg room. I can't really be considered "cute," and it's hard to find clothes that fit. being petite isn't that bad!

Even the most confident people have insecurities, I know they don't just go away. She can wear heals, but when I see a girl at the grocery store wearing heals I find it rediculous. And probably draws more attention to her hight then her with out heals. Feel good about yourself no matter what circumstance, then you won't feel the need to do something to feel good about yourself.

Sometimes I wear heels just because I can, and just because I want to. Perhaps this person had somewhere to be right after the grocery store, or came from a place before the grocery store. You're also contradicting yourself. You say that even the most confident people have insecurities and then you say that they should say swhatever and feel better about themselves, then you agree with me when I said that insecurities don't just go POOF.

But it's nit such a big thing if a short girl wants to wear high heels. The girl makes the shoes. The shoes don't make the girl, so its not slutty. It actually has little to nothing to do with her confidence. If wearing heels makes her confident, that also does not mean that she feels inferior when she isn't wearing them. It just means that the heels give her a boost. No pun intended.
