Because homosexuals aren't anymore likely to get STDs then anyone else. It's like saying that blacks are more likely to get salmonella because they eat more chicken, it's simply not true.

HIV and AIDS spead faster and are more common amongst the gay community, so while the comment was kinda rude it still applies in some way.

I'm pretty sure that they've disproved that, but if I'm mistaken, then I take back my comment. I thought it was just an old peice of 1980's propaganda. Besides, gay people can only spread STDs to other gay people, and they make up a very small part of the population.
