Look at the native Americans they are not racist and they are stuck on reservations that are 2 hours away from the nearest wall marts and have no running water or heat. if black people want to complain about what happened years ago than they should move back to africa and do it there.

I bet the Native Americans are dying for a Mountain Dew and a Hersheys bar from Wal-Mart, when will the injustice end? What was done to the native population was terrible, it was both a direct and indirect genocide, but the population were not denied voting rights, in fact, they were, and remain a considerable political force in elections. You suggest that they should move back to Africa? Its a good thing that Western economies crippled Africa by colonial rape of resources, failure to establish stable governments, and then used international loans to keep them in massive debt. African Americans are citizens just the same, but there is a lot of hate and anger still remaining, all I'm saying is that I can see why. The white population has no excuse for racism.

I've never lived in Africa so how can I move back? Some Native Americans do complain and they have a lot about. They are often treated unfairly, just like black people. And to make generalizations like All black people complain is complete and utter bullshit. Most black kids got to predominantly black schools. And as a black kid that went to almost all white schools I have to tell you it's prettyrough.

ok i don't know were YOU live, but i'de move fool. that never happens.of coarse when i was in 5th grade i was the only black person in my class, and guess who the teacher hated the most. i'm not saying she was racist,there were times i just didnt know, but usually i'm a good kid so maybe that "shit" we are pulling is for a reason. white racist people are still out there.white people just dont wanna admit it cause they are ashamed of what their people did to us. just cause some black kids are being jerks doesnt mean they are racist.so when white ppl go through over 200 years of slavery, mischreatment, and discrimination, to the point that they have to FIGHT for the simplest right to go to the bathroom, then you can repost this.

You're pretty much saying that black people can be jerks because they're still angry at what happened hundreds of years ago, but who can they really be angry at? Anybody that's ever had or mistreated a slave is dead. People in the now had nothing to do with what happened, and many people, including myself, feel terrible but there's obviously nothing that anybody can do about it.

Something that my dad brought up the other day... With the BET Awards coming up, can you imagine what would happen if there were a "White Entertainment" group for only white celebrities??? It would sooo not go over well.. If black people don't want to be segregated or have a "racist" attitude towards them, why do they choose to have their own seperate events, tv shows, etc. etc.?

Before Michael Jackson's Thriller, MTV was pretty much a 'white only' music station with white music videos and prefomers and hardly anything else. And even afterwards it continued to be dominated by white muscians. Considering that this was pretty much the only music television station on air, BET was made so that rap music and 'black music' could be played for the people that listened to it. Black orginizations are often made to counteract the discriminination off the white dominated government and the unfair treatment blacks have suffered for hundreds of years.

I don't know where you live OP, but I've been to predominantly white schools and predominantly black schools and yes, it sucks for both races but I hardly hear much complaining on either side. If you're different, it's really easy for you to get teased. It's really easy to get away with teasing a black kid in an all white school. It's also really easy to get away with teasing a white kid in an all black schoo.l That's a fact of life. To say that blacks in all white schools complain more while whites get treated like shit is wrong (IMO).

My sentiments on the subject are that how can you move forward if you are always looking backward? If we continue to dwell on past offenses then are we really getting anywhere? Hatred begets hatred, just like violence begets violence, WE, this generation, must stop the cycle and learn to move past the feelings of resentment and see each other for what they are..... humans just like ourselves.
