Apparently someone in my middle school killed him...

It's a primitive response in order to show show fear or scare others away. For example, when someone tickles you, you do this to unconsciously ask them to stop (even if you don't want them to).

But that doesnt make sense if you laugh at someones joke or someone getting hurt.

you mean the psychological reason...there is no scientific reason. its all mentally through your reaction with your neurons sending messages in your brain to make you do actions. for example, for pain. when your body senses pain, it shoots this terrible feeling to where you are receiving the pain to let yourself know "get me out of this!" to protect your body. neurons control your senses. laughter though can be something else, but most likely your neurons. :)

(The Psychologist): Um, I agree, but it is scientific too. The chemical Histamine is what makes you feel pain.

not really. but there is mainly psychological proof of laughter. just saying. i guess there is some science. but not much.
