well gee, where to start? His whole Health Care Reform? ya, thats not going to help us at all. the governments purpose is to enforce laws and ensure justice, not all that shit. This health care bill is gonna make our healthcare system pretty much the same as canada's and its so bad up there that i know many people who come down to the us for treatment because of how screwed up it is up there. and, the whole thing going on with the 2nd ammendment? trying to take away our right to bear arms? you cant tell me you support THAT.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm not saying that I support the new health care system, because no one knows exactly what it's going to do and exactly what it's not going to do, but if it's going to make America's health care system like Canada's, then health care is going to be a basic human right in America. And we're pretty much the last ones who don't already have that right. And I'm sorry, but if you believe that any president between now and the end of time is actually going to manage to take away our right to bear arms, then maybe you're not smart enough to be in to politics, anyway.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

just because we are some of the last in the world without this health care system does not mean that we should have it. we have one of the best Healthcare systems right now, and we should keep it like it is, in my opinion. I never said that i thought he was going to be able to take away our right to bear arms, i merely pointed out that he was TRYING to. i don't think he will be able to, because there are way too many of us who would never let that happen. and also, where is the birth certificate? eh?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

We do not have the best healthcare system in the world. We have among the worst healthcare systems in the civilized world. Here is the birth certificate: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/.shared/image.html?/photos/uncategorized/2008/06/13/bobirthcertificate.jpg

umm its kind of fucked up that you dont think healthcare should be free. Since the times of the ancient greeks doctors took a hippocratic oath that they swore to use their abilities to help anyone in need..and now they still take that oath, but they only help people who have money. Wait till you are on your own without health insurance and something happens or you get sick??? It will cost ya an arm and a leg to be treated. More people die from not having health insurance than from smoking ciggarettes. It is just so inhuman to think that people dont have a RIGHT to be healed unless they have money thats so fucked up seriously. Also, canadas healthcare is not that bad. If you have a serious problem they will help you right away

by Anonymous 13 years ago

okay, you think its "free"? someone has to pay for it and it comes out of the taxes that YOU pay whether you know it or not, thats all i'm saying.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

He's not trying to take away our guns, he's trying to make it harder for normal every day citizens to get automatic weapons. What the fuck do you need automatic weapons for? Unless you want to cause another VA Tech or Columbine, you don't need them. If you want to hunt you have rifles and shot guns, and if you want to protect yourself there are plenty of other guns out there for you.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"the whole thing going on with the 2nd ammendment? trying to take away our right to bear arms? " Oooohh. Really? So he has said that he will personally try eras the second ammendmant?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Every [well, most] presidents are/were better than Obama. Bush came in at a bad time because of Clinton's crappy loan policy that initially put us into this recession. Obama needs to man up and take responsibility for his own problems rather than blame Bush. But here's some faith for you- It took a Carter to get a Reagan. Maybe we'll get a really smart president in 2012.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"Obama needs to man up and take responsibility for his own problems rather than blame Bush" Whe has he recently said as president, "This is all Bush's fault" "It took a Carter to get a Reagan" You know why Reagan was great? He raised taxes 7 times as president to get the country going because he knew it was needed. Something tells me if Obama was in the exact same situation opting for the exact same tax raising solution, you Libertarians and conservatives would just deny him. . Sigh... The shit going on these days.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

look i really dont care if you like bush or obama better, but can u at least keep it quiet?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

ya plz just stop. i dont like obama too but still hes our prez.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The people who didn't like GWB spoke out about it, so why not the people who don't like Obama? Not trying to be mean, because i'm actually an Obama fan, but as an American it's our right to freedom of speech so if they want to spew ignorant wrong facts about how he's dumb and worse than Bush then so be it because that's their right.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You have a point there in the begining, but seriously? an "Obama fan". You shouldn't ever call yourself a fan of the president. You can support his ideas or not, but calling yourself a "fan" of him puts him in the place of a celebrity insteard of the current leader of our country.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Would of worked better with George Washington.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I did like George W. Bush, but he did make mistakes. Just like Reagan was my all-time favorite president, but he still made mistakes. Every president made mistakes, whether people would admit it or not. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Think Bush did more than make a few mistakes. He made a bunch of mistakes, and none of them were little.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I never said he made a few mistakes. I just said he made mistakes.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I love how people think Obama is the worst president, yet nothing he's trying to do has taken effect. Healthcare is not nationalized and won't be for a some years. People can still buy guns. So, how can he be the worst if nothing has happened yet? Bush started a war with a middle eastern country based on a hunch which resulted in the death of thousand of U.S. soldiers. Meanwhile, the person who actually attacked us is running around. Yes, Bush was so much better.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think i love you.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

wow you must be blinded by obama. his inaction has been quite ridiculous... lets just take the oil spill for example. he never declared it a national emergency. that means that no national effort could have helped clean it up and fix it. he let BP deal with it and let it spew oil into the ocean for a large number of days. that, in my book, means that he is a bad president. he could have acted to help, but he did not and let the situation get worse. a president should be a proactive individual.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

wow.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Right back atcha ;)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I never said he was the best. I said he wasn't worse than Bush. Yes, he should've declared it a natural disaster. However, I highly doubt the army could have "fixed it." Some of the greatest minds were working on this problem and couldn't find a solution. Plus, it's not like he completely ignored the situation which is what you're making it seem like. He spent days meeting with the head of BP and scientists to help them find a solution. He forced them to take responsibility and pay for all the damage they caused. Now, as far as natural disasters and presidents go, Bush didn't exactly handle Katrina that well either. People (some of which were children) were trapped without food and water for days on end.
