+219 DBQ essays need to go die in a hole deep in the South American wilderness at the dead of night where nobody will ever find them, amirite?

ap us or euro? dbq are actually the easiest part! like synthesis in ap comp you just need to put the whole picture together

by Anonymous 14 years ago

(Khi):Im taking all 3 of those and psych its safe to say we hate them all.

AP language and comp or lit and comp? Last year I thought lang and comp was really easy (it's just the SAT plus more essays). The others just depend how prepared you are and how well you know the material but I did decent on them.

ap lit is exactly the same as the SAT too, except it wants you to focus more on the author's SPECIFIC techniques rather than the meaning.

comp.

I'm almost afraid to ask... but DBQ?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Document based question. They're essay questions on certain AP (Advanced Placement) exams, and they are bitches to write.

(AP veteran): sounds... interesting. not for the first time, I'm kinda really glad I live in Finland, land of the insanely easy exams :D

by Anonymous 12 years ago

...this sounds scarily similar to something my friend would say.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No way. Those are so easy! They're a surefire way to boost my grade.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It sounds like it's AP season again.

Amen, man. Amen. I took AP US last year and my DBQ was about Puritan society in the 1600s or something. Awful. The worst part about those is that not all of the documents they give you are relavent to anything.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Last year's AP US exam was suuuuuuper easy....'specially that DBQ. And you only need to use 2/3 of the documents to get a good score.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

true, but you need to decide which ones go along with your argument. and if not enough of them do, you need to change your thesis. which is dumb. i COMPLETELY disagree with you about it being easy. the essays were simple enough, but the multiple choice was hell. i took 5 or 6 practice exams and NONE of them were that bad.

I loved that DBQ! I'm having a little APUSH memory moment :) I'm in AP Euro now, and the teacher is having us practice a ton, and shes super-picky about how EXACTLY it needs to be written. Its extremely annoying.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I go to this website so I'm NOT reminded of my apush homework. sheesh.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I think they're easier because if you vaguely remember what they're talking about, they usually give you clues to remember more things. It just depends on how good you are on ... 'interpreting' documents. ;)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

by "interpreting" you mean "bullshitting" right?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well... that's up to your interpretation ;D

by Anonymous 12 years ago

FRQ's are a lot harder.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Exactly! I just know the DBQ is going to ruin my timing.
