-51 Cursing is really unattractive, amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Oh wary

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It depends. Some people cuss naturally and it sounds fine. When somebody forces themselves to cuss to sound cool they usually sound really awkward and that's unattractive.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Its a nasty habit, but I really don't find it that displeasing. Just as long as they aren't like "AWH SHEEIT BRAH/MAYUN, This fucking shit is a god damn biotch!"

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It kind of cheapens a person. I don't mind a few curse words here and there but too much of anything isn't good.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

For some weirdo reason I find cussing to be attractive if the person usually never does it and it was justified. but like only a little. It's not like if a girl did that i'd immediately just be like OH MA GORSH FUCK ME NOW

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It depends. It's kind of a bad habit for me. I don't mind if it's like: "Sing me a song?" "Hell no, I'm a shitty singer." I mind if: Hellz yeah, beotch lets go fuck that fucking shit up!

People who think cursing is unattractive are unattractive.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Honestly I think it's more annoying when people substitute in words like "frick" and whatnot.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I don't mind "frick" so much as when they're trying to be cute and say some long, random thing that doesn't make any sense. I do think that "ass" sounds better than "butt" though.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Going out of your way to avoid cursing is pretty annoying, but substituting words can be okay sometimes.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I went a while trying to abstain from cursing. But when you're super pissed at someone calling them a poop or something just doesn't cut it.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It's completely possible to not curse and also not use ridiculous phrases like "fudge you" and "holy schnitzel." It's also possible to get extremely angry at a person and argue with them without cursing while still sounding intimidating. You don't have to call them "poop." Just use other vocabulary. It's also possible to stub your toe without cursing. Most people went through around 10 years of their life without cursing, and it was totally possible then.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

That's mighty fine and all, but it's a personal choice.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I get that, and to each his own, but I don't know if agree with the excuses people use. Just say it's a choice.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It honestly is rather hard not to when you're raised with it. I never ever wanted to swear and thought it was terrible in middle school but if I got hurt it would slip out, so I disagree with you on that.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I understand that it's a hard habit to kill once you start, but I don't understand why people say, "I curse because what else could I say when I'm angry, or how else would I express myself?" as if the non-cursers are accomplishing some feat or sound ridiculous when they don't curse in certain situations.

Certain words bug me more than others. I don't like faggot, nigger, dyke, chink, etc.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yeah I agree completely. I have my limits. Cunt for me should also be added to that list

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Pussy is one of my least favorite words. I don't usually mind when people say nigger, but I personally prefer not to.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

How can you not mind that? It's like becoming popularized on the internet now and it really pisses me off. Just with the whole history of the word, along with faggot. I could never let myself say that.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I suppose I don't mind because of how popular of a word it is, honestly. I know people are going to say it so I just don't let it bother me. It's definitely not a word //I// like using and the only time I've ever said it is when, like above, I'm talking about the word itself.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I don't think it's attractive or unattractive.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I just don't think it's necessary all the time. If you're angry or something I suppose it's acceptable but in casual conversation I just don't see any good reason to be. Just my opinion

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Being too much of a prude to swear is really unattractive.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I'm trying to think of some bullshit comment to say to this, but I can't think of anything.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I was raised in a house where everyone swears, so it was no big deal. I started cursing in around 7th grade or so, and while I don't do it in front of adults or people who are uncomfortable around it, I like to occasionally say a curse word. Currently, one of my favorite insults is "giant bag of assholes". I don't like slurs though and there are some curses that I think are just dumb, such as cunt or pussy.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

But.... but.. JennaMarbles curses all the time!!

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I don't mind it at all. But I avoid using slurs like faggot or nigger because... ugh. I hate the word pussy, but I admit I let it slip every now and then.
