+190 There isn't actually any deep meaning to most of The Beatles' songs. They were just high when they wrote them, amirite?

Beatles' trippy songs make more sense than everything by America.

Is America a band?

Yes.

I'd say their most well-known songs are Horse With No Name, and Muskrat Love. Look them up sometime, and laugh at the utter nonsense they say.

There is lots of meaning. Just most of it is probably unintended and discovered by fans looking too hard.

That's what make them special... I can let them mean whatever I want them to mean.

The true meaning of anything, like a song or painting or book, is interpreted by those who partake in it. It's true value is what it means to you. :3

Same with a bunch of great bands- the rolling stones, the doors, etc. But the beauty of the lyrics and songs is that they might not have had a deep meaning originally, but now they hold so much meaning for so many people. It just shows how much influence these songwriters and musicians had.
