Sometimes twice a day

The cops, our family counciler, my regular counciler, and the magellin chrisis line have all told my mom the same thing. What does she do instead? Push her way into my room, put her foot in front of the door, and starts barking ridiculous orders at me like "blow out that candle!".

Candles are a fire hazard. If it is scented then get a glade plug in or open your window, then see if she has any reason to barge in.

She didn't barge in because of the candle. I'm allowed to burn candles. She barged in because I went to my room and she wanted to hang out.

Oh. Tell her to find a hobby. She can't realistically expect to just barge in and "hang out" with her kid at the age of 15+. On a side note, I'm really glad I don't have that kind of mom haha

Hahaha that sounds mean. "Mom, I'm sorry, but you're just not that cool and I don't want to hang out, get a hobby."

I would probably take the "Get some friends" or "Talk to your husband/bf" route personally. Haha but seriously, I'm sure theres a more tactful, polite way to get the message across.
