I think primarily it's for competition with other girls, as Adria said, but everything humans do can be reduced to happiness or survival, and sex often comes as the next to last step. The only reason for competition between guys and between girls is to attract mates, so indirectly, girls do dress for guys. And I don't think a lot of guys would like it if hot girls walked around naked. It means there's nothing to look forward to and it would be hard (hehheh) as hell to not seem like a pervert and get a girl to like you.
