I find easier to type the apostrophe than the whole two words because all you have to do (if you type the right way) is move your pinky one key to the right, and sometimes I'll type "dont" knowing that Word will put the apostrophe in.

Unless you're really lazy, then you just use a word that sounds the same but means something completely different. (Your name should be "haha.you're weird. Not haha.your weird)
