Barney scared me as a child. When he came on screen I made my mom change the channel. Then again, when that creepy guy on Elmo came on I ran out of the room, sometimes screaming, so there were worse shows.

F that, Hamtaro was the SHIT, bro. Seriously, little hamsters running around was amazing to a five year old. And the old Pokemon was awesome, too. Besides, mom never let me watch Barney. She thought he was a bad role model for children (since the actor got a DUI or something, I dunno).
