When you drove for the first time, the gas pedal was WAY more sensitive then you expected, amirite?

Yeah, really don't "floor it" very much

When I drove my parents vehicle for the first time, it wasn't overly sensitive.
But when I drive other peoples vehicles, I'm scared to drive it because I don't know how sensitive the pedals are.

haha I didn't even know that the car still moved even if your foot wasn't pressing down on the gas pedal

Lol same with me! I thought once you let go the car would stop.

It was the brake pedal that got me lol

I felt like I would break so hard that my car would do a forward summersault.

I know what you mean lol.

Both pedals were way sensitive... It was frightening.

So true! I have my license now, but I failed my test because I pressed the gas too hard when I was backing up and hit a snowbank. My instructor just laughed lol.

The first time I drove after I got my permit I made the classic movie driving mistake: Accidentally turning on the windshield wipers while trying to turn on the turn signal. My Mom laughed and my Dad shook his head.
