Wish I knew this. I accidentally wrote 14/2=8. My math teacher called me "Fourteen divided by two" for a month.

I have a moment of panic when it's like 8 x 4 and I'll end up thinking something like "holycrapwhatisthishaveweevenlearnedthiswehavedefinitelyNOTlearnedthis!...... OOOOOOOH"

Except sometimes on tests like the ACT, if you spend too much time on the simple stuff, you're just screwing yourself over because you're not going to have enough time.

My friend should have done this. We wrote 2 maths exams. The first one she got 100% on and the second one she lost one mark. For what? 10÷5=5
