In Latin, there's no such letter as 'w'. But in Ancient Greek, 'w' is 'oh' (there are two different 'o' sounds in Greek).

actually...sometimes w is a vowel...i took a vocab class...they taught us all those weird things like that...but its rare...theres a big long weird rule about it
