+343 It doesn't make any sense as to why they can't cut a bit of the budget for the arts, and a bit of the budget for sports. There's no reason they have to completely destroy one, amirite?

Cutting a bit of both budgets would cripple both things, pissing off two groups of people. Completely cutting one would only piss off one group.

But what aboot the PROPHECY?!

I don't know, I'm just glad my school chose arts so we get new marching percussion for band. y

What? My band has ZERO help from our school, it sucks.

Sports generally brings in more money and has overall, more children (and thus more parents = money) invested in it. So if a school had to slash Arts budget or Sports, they would go with the one that has the two reasons listed above.

Wouldn't that make sports more self-sufficient then?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Really? My high school had twice the arts kids than sports kids. They should really determine the budget based on how many students are enrolled in each program.

But that wouldn't make a good TV episode.
