+471 You've read a sad, romantic, happy, etc. book and cried before, then felt like a dork for crying over a fantasy, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It doesn't exactly make you a dork if the writer has managed to convey the emotions so strongly you feel them too.

i understand, I've definitely read books like that, but if someone walked by and saw my crying while reading, I'd feel like a dork. Thats just me though.

I see what you mean... it depends on which book it is, though.

Yeaa. Romantic books make me cry. Idk why. Sad books never really do for me.

haha I cry a lot, actually... if someone dies, if 'the pair' gets each other... a lot.

Yeaa. Same here. The Darkest Powers didn't make me cry until the last book, but I was bawling. lol.

hahah I cried when Sirius, Dumbledore, and Snape died and my sister who hates harry potter always laughs at me for that :)

I cry every time I read the last Harry Potter book. I scream YEEEES!!!!! when Dumbledore dies. I don't really feel anything anymore when Sirius dies.
