+184 You say "heey" instead of "hey" because just saying "hey" makes you sound too dull, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I say Heyy.. Lol

by Anonymous 13 years ago

me too

by Anonymous 13 years ago

same!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Because English is dull? It's the language. If you don't like it, learn a new language and stop complaining.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

they are talking about the way you pronounce it. If you just say hey it does sound dull, you shouldn't say everything monotone

Saying "Heey" makes me think you're one of those preteens who purposely misspells things and says "dat" instead of "that" and "dis" instead of "this".

by Anonymous 13 years ago

not everybody talks like that, i say heey but i hate it when people say "dis" or "dat"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, I know, it's just what pops into my mind. It's still twisting a word's spelling like the aforementioned examples.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i think that too, don't worry

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I use a different greeting every time. Keeps it interesting.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, personally I'm a big fan of 'howdy'

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I say Sup brah. Because it makes me feel rather ghetto and "cool" as the kids would say.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I hate it when they type like, "heyyy.!, ii loovvee myy freenndss,<3!(:!."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

SALUTATIONS comrades!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I just say "Hi."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That makes people feel like you don't want to talk to them though.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

hey

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think a good ol fashion "Hello" works just fine.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I even read "hey" in a more dull voice than "heey."
