+48 It's annoying how the majority of girls these days feel the need to straighten their hair and do their makeup EVERY day, amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

If you had a frizzy puffball for hair, you'd have to straighten it everyday too!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I DO have a frizzy puffball for hair, but there's thing called a PONYTAIL, that magically allows me not to have to damage my hair everyday!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Then somebody could also say, "It's annoying how some girls wear their hair in a ponytail every day, amirite?" Why are you so worried about people damaging their own hair?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

My hair is frizzy, I leave it naturally though (with lots of mousse lol). I don't straighten it myself ever because I'm really bad at it (its kind of sad).

by Anonymous 11 years ago

You don't have too straighten it. You could curl it. Or you could actually take care of it. With the proper care, your hair won't be frizzy anymore. In fact, straightening it everyday is probably making it even more frizzy, as it is drying your hair out.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It's called washing which tends to unstraighten hair and take make up off. Dumbass.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And then, the next day, they do it all over again. Seriously, at volleyball practice today, almost every girl there was wearing mascara and their ponytails were straightened and perfect.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't understand why you would be mad at someone for having perfect hair.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

"It's really annoying when people do something to their own bodies that isn't harming me or anybody else in order to feel good about themselves."

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I like how you posted the same thing I tried to say right when I posted my comment. wary Imma delete that now.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Actually, it is harming you. Makeup can get in to pores, which isn't good for your skin. And let's not even get into all of the heat damage your abused hair receives.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Most makeup is made very light nowadays for that specific reason. Same with hair straighteners. They're designed to do as little damage as possible. But the point remains, it's their body so why do you care what they do with it?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Why care about anything?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It annoys you that they take the time to look nice? Lol. I'll admit, I wear yoga pants and a pony to school most days, but props to the girls with the patience to look nice on a daily basis.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Sometimes I envy those girls who actually take the time to look nice on a daily basis. I mean, I've tried to do it, but it was horrible. I woke up an hour early so I was up at 5:00 which means I only got 3 hours of sleep which means I fell asleep during class and ended up messing up my hair and my feet hurt from wearing shoes that were pretty but they had hard soles and I just am not going through that again lol I'm sticking with sweatshirts and shorts and sneakers for the rest of my life

by Anonymous 11 years ago

That run-on sentence made me run out of breath. Sheww

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I like to take weekends off. Then again I have close to no social life at all so this is probably not the case for other people

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Sometimes, I don't do anything on weekends and I still straighten my hair. wary But I really fucking hate how my hair looks right after a shower because it's wavy in a really weird, blah way.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It's only annoying when they feel they have to do it in the locker room/bathrooms at school in the morning.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I have to agree with that. At my school there were girls who would straighten and blow dry their hair in the bathroom so I couldn't use the sink, and somehow in the process leave nasty amounts of hair in it.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yeah how dare they ...? What.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Why would that annoy you..?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I'll spend as long as I want on my hair and makeup, thanks.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

How the hell is that any of your business? I'm sorry, but whenever someone makes these kind of posts, I think he or she is some Ugly Betty looking bitch or some loser who wants a hot girl but can't so he does the whole "I'm a nice guy if you're hot, but only naturally flawless, I have super high standards hur dur"

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I kind of have to straighten my hair. If I leave it in it's curly-wavy natural state it gets in my eyes and wont stay behind my ears, and it's far too thick and heavy to have in a pony tail all the time (it gives me headaches), and straightening it is a simple, 3 minute solution to keeping it out of my face.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I just really hate how my hair looks when I don't straighten it. My hair is relatively thin and I get headaches from having it in a ponytail too. I think it's because it's so tight. hmm

by Anonymous 11 years ago

That could be it, hmm...

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Hon, if it takes you 3 minutes to straighten your hair, then it's not curly. Stop being over dramatic.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I wasn't being dramatic? And I didn't mean tight curls, half of it's what my friend refers to as "anime curls," the rest is just annoyingly wavy.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I honestly don't see how this bothers you. I have short hair that is extremely low-mantinence and I don't usually wear makeup while my two sisters have long hair that they spend ALL of their spare time straightening or curling and doing their makeup and it's not a bother. I don't care what people are doing with their hair or face and I'm confused as to how it's bothering you. O__o

by Anonymous 11 years ago

hmm If you disagree, why did you vote YYA?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Forget that... I don't have time to do my makeup and hair every day. Bare face ftw!

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Says makeup_nerd. hehe

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I straighten my hair pretty much every day because otherwise it looks like I've been electrocuted, and I hate having my hair in a ponytail. I don't wear make up though. I think makeup is extremely overrated and it's sad when people who look just fine can't stand the thought of being seen without it.
