My family and two other families we were friends with would rent a penthouse in Vermont every winter about more than decade ago. The living room was the best for fort-bulding, what with a great layout, tons of chairs and tons of cushions. The adults would get mad if we built forts there, though, so the four other kids and I decided to wake up at two AM and build it. But when I woke up, I realized I valued sleep too much and went back to bed. Turns out only two kids got up and then they got caught and had to take the whole thing down themselves. After that we had to built miniscule forts in the home cinema room.
