+638 It is by no means necessary to have a Starbucks directly across the street from another Starbucks, amirite?

(NO!!!): This was the one of his jokes that I laughed the hardest at. Thank you for recognizing it.

Back home, we had one plaza with three separate Starbucks in it. One was in Target, one in Barnes & Noble, and one was just a normal Starbucks.

My town center is like that too except that there's a Starbucks in Albertsons instead of Target. It's crazy how they're so close to each other but still make good business.

Yeah, I know. My university needs another one. The only Starbucks we have is in our student center, and there's always HUGE lines. I can never get coffee before class or work. Ever.

Ooh sorry that sucks. Maybe someday they'll have another one on campus or closeby.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That would kind of depend on how much business they got, wouldn't it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This. The lines get crazy long in the morning rushes!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

True, but it's just a joke.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That line is used on me so, so often. I am so terribly sorry that I think a joke should make sense.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Are you kidding me?! Starbucks are necessary anywhere!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ah, it's a quote... I was thinking "... says the guy who's never been late for work because they were stuck in line at an overworked Starbucks" =P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

One time, me and my bros went inside this guy's dream and there was a Starbucks inside a Starbucks within a Starbucks. We had a big argument about what it really meant.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Starbucks? Maybe. But McDonalds across each other is a NO!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha, where I live there is a starbucks on pretty much every corner! :) and I love it!

Near my dad's work, there are four Starbucks, all within a block of each other. In the morning, all four of them are overflowing with people.
