If their life sucks, they probably DON'T have anything better to do than be on FML posting every little negative thing.

Or they could do something about it. You know, fixing problems. Heard of it? Not one person on FML really has a life that sucks. They're just choosing to be complainers and see their life in a negative light.

Or, and I'm just throwing this out there, they find a little bit of help and hope in posting what they're going through. Maybe for one second it helps them find the tiniest bit of humor in a bad situation. Maybe, they aren't doing it for the thousands of people reading it, but for themselves.

Except for the fact that half the situations on FML are about bird crap on your head. It's pathetic that people get so worked up over those kinds of stupid little everyday situations that everyone has, we just don't whine about it day and night and go begging for sympathy from strangers on the internet. The other half of FML are more serious situations, that you actually think are bad situations. If someone's going through something like that, the least they can do is try to fix it and not immediately shut down and claim that their life is horrible. Yeah, we get it, it's a regrettable spot to be in. Suck it up. There's always someone who has it worse, and they aren't posting it on some whiny-ass website.
