+77 Its VERY annoying when teachers decide to use a Smartboard in class and ask you (students) to copy down the work EVEN THOUGH you all know the board is connected to a printer which could easily print out hundreds, if not thousands, of copies instantly, amirite?

or when teachers create a powerpoint and have a website, but instead of sending us all the powerpoint or posting it online, we're forced to quickly hand-write everything.

God, do I hate this post. I absolutely, utterly hate it and wish people who think like this would get.. I don't know, fixed? There's just so many things wrong with it, I don't even know what to criticise.

"But u wunt learn anything dat wey hurrr"-teachers

I honestly retain so much more information if I actually write down the notes, and recopying them is even better.

You're more likely to read and retain information from the notes if you copy them down. When it came to complicated charts my science teacher would have us copy them out to make sure we read it then printed out a neater copy for us to review later.

I capitalize words for EMPHASIS! ... EMPHASIS!

Here's something no one has said: That would be bigger waste of paper and ink.

Save the students a few minutes of time and effort vs. Wasting gang paper unnecessarily. Tough call.

They have printing budgets and if they were to print out everything then their budget for the year would be gone too quickly.

My teacher did that and it was actually terrible. I learned nothing and he wasted so much paper on notes that didn't make sense to me. I find it easier when I write it out in my own words, then I can look back and see what I don't understand.

Also they have a printing budget.
