There's no way the movie will bomb. "Cars" sold BILLIONS of dollars worth of merchandise for Disney. It'll probably be their second or third highest-grossing movie, especially when you consider how expensive the 3D tickets are. Additionally, Cars might have been their worst film, but, so what? Pixar knows where they went wrong; if we give Cars 2 a chance, it might turn out to be one of their better films.

While Cars is definitely the most mediocre Pixar film (obligatory 'in my opinion' here), Cars 2 will not bomb. It's not a risky move. The original was insanely popular. And at least the Cars universe is fit for a sequel. I'm really nervous about Monsters Inc. 2 more than anything. Not that I think Pixar will ever disappoint, but MI was a closed story arc that doesn't need a sequel. The Incredibles, on the other hand, deserves a sequel more than any other Pixar movie. Not my favorite, but most deserving of sequeldom.

They've already announced that Monsters Inc. 2 is coming out in 2011. Google it.

THEY'RE MAKING A SEQUEL?! O.o Anyone know what the storyline for it will be? In, my opinion, I'm not sure how they could have moved forward with the story considering how they ended it :/ I still think Cars was pretty decent though. -xoxo

Wait a sec, I was sure it was cars 2 coming out in 2011, not monsters inc. oops, maybe I made a mistake O_O oh well, my post got homepaged, so I'm okay =P Cars was a good movie, but it wasn't that great, so a sequel probably won't be so good, that's just my prediction.

The fact that I heard that they were gonna be making a Monsters Inc. 2 I wasn't very happy. At the end of the movie, he got too see Boo. Plus, instead of scaring kids, they are making them laugh. They ended the movie very nicely in my opinion, and now with another movie coming out, I don't know what to expect.

I'm sure that Monsters Inc 2 will be EPIC, i loved the first one & im very excited to see how things in monstropolis have been (: bolt was good except for having to listen to Mileys voice - erlack - & cars sucked, but little kids will be begging their mummies & daddies to go & see the sequel so it shouldn't bomb as you so expect. that is all .
