We didn't have mcdonalds in my town until I was around 10 - also it wasn't a place to go only a place to pick up some food and bring home. Never a treat for me, I always remember my mum eating french fries all the way home. a 5 minuet drive. Now I go there so rarely I don't feel guilty cause I plan for it and eat less all day to make up for the fat I will consume there.
