The pacer is worse :(

by Anonymous 14 years ago

true dat, i only got like 84...much better at mile

by Anonymous 14 years ago

I got 62 :/ but it wasn't graded or anything, so I just kind of quit when I got thirsty.

I hate the pacer. At my school, if we do bad on the pacer it determines how much work we have to do to pass gym. I always suck so I have to do the most work.

Nah, running a mile is easy

by Anonymous 14 years ago

At least you don't like in Illinois (I'm assuming), four years of gym! It's terrible!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

We've got the same thing in New York

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Do you have it every day? Because I'm looking at a law that says 3 days a week for New York

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It depends on the school. I used to have it everyday. Then we switched to something called "block scheduling" where we would have every class for twice as long every other day. Maybe the law says at least 3 days a week?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Or at least I think I had it everyday. I guess it could have been 3 days a week. It's been a few years. . .

We had to run around the baseball field 5 times. I figured out a way to cheat. I would walk around once and when I was coming around the front to where our teacher was, I would jog and act super tired. It worked all the time.

They call it running. I call it chatting with friends.

WIN

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It sucked when the grade ahead of us screwed around and the entire school had to run two miles because of two guys. And I really don't run at all

What pissed me off is where I live (cali) we had school during the hottest part of the summer. Soooo we'd have mile day and it could be between 90 to 100+ degrees out! Then the gym teachers would follow us in their golf cart with their refreshing ice cold water saying 'its not hard' blah blah blah. Biiiiiitches. During one particularly hot day I had an asthma attack (after asking multiple times to go get my inhaler) after that my doc wrote me a note to not run. Period. Yet the teachers said I was faking was perfectly fine and failed me... Yeah, I totally faked an asthma attack. Wtf?

At my school (it is an elementary, middle and high school) all the grades have to do the mile like once a week. AND we have P.E. every day :(

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i wish i could have P.E everyday better than my school where we don't even have enough teachers to have physical conditioning :(

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I love your username and picture! That is all.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I only hate it because you get so sweaty, and if you're like me, your gym period is almost always been earlier in the day. And then all the perfume in the world won't stop you from feeling gross all day.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

the pacer is worse but I hate the mile. My best time was somewhere around 9:30. I think it was a little less than that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Asthma. dont take PE. i win

We ran a marathon (10 min without jogging or walking, you had to run full speed) every month from k-4 then from 5-12 you run a mile twice a year. Teacher would sit and play on her phone telling us how easy it was and occasionally walk a couple feet. She's still a bitch and I have her for five more years.
