+268 Nobody ever just drops by somebody's house to hang out or talk. They either have to text/call/facebook/myspace or twitter about it for hours or even days before. Whatever happened to spontaneity? amirite?

It is generally considered to be rude. I know from experience. It's best to give a warning so that way the household has a time to prepare.

What Cat doesn't know is that I am in her house right now... She just doesn't know because I didn't tell her....

Its not gone even though its good to give a warning not too long ago I went to my friends house and picked her up out of nowhere.

Its dead, that is why I hate modern social life

I get pissed when people show up at my house unannounced... because if I'm not going anywhere or expecting company, I'm probably wearing jammies or nothing, and my living room probably needs to be picked up... at any rate, it's terribly rude.

I have a friend who doesn't have a phone, and we're allowed to just walk into his house. As a matter of fact, you're considered a fool if you ring the doorbell. My friends and I play cards with his mom and her boyfriend when he isn't home.

Me and my friends always drop by, sometimes when the others aren't even home yet. Not all of us are constantly glued to our social networking tools, amirite?
