Harry Potter fans have bad taste for literature, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Let's just start with the fact that it should be "taste IN literature," and then we can move on to the fact that it's NOT TRUE.
by Anonymous13 years ago
lets start with the fact that im only replying to your post so my post will be at the top (sorry about that)
by Anonymous12 years ago
they're not bad books, the crazy fans are annoying though >< make people like me who just like the book look bad
by Anonymous13 years ago
Oh yeah~~ Liking Harry Potter instantly makes me an awful reader. Being interested in the deeper meanings of the book and enjoying the fantasy makes me the worst possible reader ever.
Thank you for enlightening me!
by Anonymous13 years ago
Guys, it's obvious that Katffro is being sarcastic, stop voting him/her down! Plus, he/she voted no! Can't you see by the red comment bubble?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Wait, hold up... Why does it say that there are more comments then there really are?
by Anonymous13 years ago
mhm.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'm embarrassed by the fact that as soon as I read 'wait, hold up', 'Scream' form HSM3 started playing in my head -_-
by Anonymous13 years ago
Not only is that a terrible generalization, but ou can't judge someone by one book that they read. Also, the Harry Potter books are fantastic children's novels that have many literary devices and great morals.
by Anonymous13 years ago
If you bothered to read Harry Potter, you would realize that you don't HAVE to automatically HATE Twilight, it is simply just a coincidence. As well, if you read Harry Potter books, that doesn't make you a nerd or stupid or say you have a bad choice in literature, it simply shows that you enjoy thoughts of a fantasy world that you would not be able to live otherwise.
Yes, there are some diehard fans who wear black snuggies or pretend to do spells, but a generalization like yours is similar to me saying "All girls are whores" or "All guys only want sex" or "Gay people are going to hell because they are against god."
by Anonymous13 years ago
Did anyone notice that his username was HateMe?
by Anonymous13 years ago
**bad taste IN literature.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Well your username is correct because EVERYBODY hates you. You can't even put together a correct sentence so what makes you think you can judge people on what they do and don't read. GET OVER YOURSELF. The Harry Potter Series is good.
by Anonymous13 years ago
This is not mlia. Don't argue over something stupid like harry potter. Its quite annoying. Also how old are you?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Oh no no no no. Its people who like TWILIGHT who do.
by Anonymous13 years ago
You're a jerk, I love the Harry Potter series. That doesn't mean I have a bad taste in literature. I also don't mind Twilight, and I like a lot of different kinds of books. Maybe if you'd read the series, you'd understand. Sure, some people are just insane about the series and go crazy over it. But just because it's maybe a favorite series of someone or they simply enjoyed reading it doesn't mean that they don't have good taste.
by Anonymous13 years ago
J.K. Rowling is a literary genius. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about.
by Anonymous13 years ago
You Harry Potter fans should practice what you preach and don't generalize all Twilight fans.
by Anonymous13 years ago
"You Harry Potter fans?" I'm a fan and I don't generalize Twilight fans. Nor do I preach. Isn't your statement a little hypocritcal? (:
by Anonymous13 years ago
Sorry, it's just most are
by Anonymous13 years ago
How is it hypocritical when I don't generalize anyone? I notice that most (not all) Harry Potter fans lose their shit when someone disses the series and say that "you shouldn't judge someone by what they read". It's hypocritical of them because they judge Twilight fans just because Edward sparkles or whatever. What if I judged the whole Harry Potter series on the fact that Dumbledore's gay? Most people wouldn't like that, so I just think Harry Potter fans should use their own advice and don't judge people on what they read. That's all, I'm not trying to offend anyone or anything.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Dumbledore is only gay in A Very Potter Musical, which i might add is completely made of WIN by a bunch of die hard potter fans :D
by Anonymous13 years ago
Hate to break it to you, but Dumbledore is, in fact, gay. Jo said so herself.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Oh my god get over yourselfs stop saying crap about harry potter and stop sayin crap about twilight! Wow! Two diffrenet books! I personally dont like the harry potter series but thats just me!
by Anonymous13 years ago
Wow, Harry Potter is a well written book, and has sold millions of copies. I would say the "Twihards" are the annoying fans. "OH MY GOSHH!! EDWARD MARRY ME!"
by Anonymous13 years ago
(Heather(:): Please, HP fans act like they rule the world, bloody idiots
by Anonymous13 years ago
HP fans DO rule the world, WE have the theme park, not those stupid twitards who wont shut up about team edward or team jacob or whatever. They bring the abuse on themselves.
by Anonymous13 years ago
HateMe can't read,HateMe can't read,HateMe can't read, HateMe cannot read even if he's reading a how to read book HateMe can't read.

by Anonymous13 years ago
SCREW YOU
by Anonymous13 years ago
only a twilight fan wud write something so stupid
by Anonymous13 years ago
His name is hateme. He knows that he just wants to get people to be pissed off. This being said, I think the epic series of Harry Potter is amazing. J.K Rowling created a completely different world that you just jump in when you open it. She created an organized school, a government. There is a love/hate relationship with not only the major charactors but with the minor. Overall, it's a great book. In my opinion. :)
by Anonymous13 years ago
I don't know about you guys, but during and after reading Harry Potter, I typed and spoke using better vocabulary and grammar than I had used prior to reading the series. I had to tone it down because my friends, who have yet to read the series, were unable to understand me.
by Anonymous13 years ago
lol me too, i actually know a lot of the vocabulary words that come up on the SAT...
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'm actually considering prepping for school by rereading the series because literally, I improved that much. Besides, I haven't read the first one in three years or something like that.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I actually reread the entire series whenever I have the time. I always find something I didn't catch before. Lol
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'm always reading new books, though. I'm currently in the middle of a book I have to read for school, so I can't start for a little while...
by Anonymous13 years ago
@(365955): loooooove the avps reference :)
by Anonymous13 years ago
Harry potter is going to be one f the greast series of all times and rowling is going to be in the same catagory as bonte and dickens and austen
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'm guessing you're a Twitard....
by Anonymous13 years ago
You are guessing right, no one else would have written that.
by Anonymous13 years ago
(Heather(:): I love how you state that as a fact.
You don't know this person.
And just because someone doesn't like Harry Potter doesn't mean they're a 'Twitard', dumbass.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Hahahaha. "TROLL IN THE DUNGEONS."
by Anonymous13 years ago
^You are amazing
by Anonymous13 years ago
You too. :D
by Anonymous13 years ago
How 'bout this. Actually read the books. Then we'll talk.
by Anonymous13 years ago
at least I can write better than you
@363213 (Anonymous): only a idiot would write wud (this is the internet, not texting), and I hate both your series :P
@363715 (Anonymous): Hopefully, by then you can learn to spell.
@364010 (Delusional): Why do you assume I am a Twitard
@364360 (Heather(:): No he hasn't, Miss Know-it-all
@364242 (TicTacAddict): Haven't I heard that before, look at my other posts and read how many comments call me a troll
@364709 (megamouth30530): Read them and liked them until Harry Potter retards came and started liking them
by Anonymous13 years ago
I was playing off of those comments by saying "troll in the dungeons," which actually is a quote in reference to the first Harry Potter book in which Professor Quirrell let a troll in, pretended he didn't, announced its arrival, and promptly fainted. So, just the coincidence was amusing, which is the reason I YYA'd this. :D
by Anonymous13 years ago
I know, I have been told that before.
by Anonymous13 years ago
OH. I read your reply wrong. Okay, then. D:
by Anonymous13 years ago
difference is, the harry potter fans have been fans of the book, from the beginning, twitards emerged after the movie came out and started gushing over hotness of their charaters and sick love triangle between a dead guy, a werewolf and a boring chick with no personality...
by Anonymous13 years ago
you guys .. Chill .. Go on his profile and read the description. He doesnt mean that.. Dont get all pissy and start yelling at Hateme. Its just a post. I actually love the harry potter series, but you guys need to calm down .
by Anonymous13 years ago
(takeachillpill .): Actually, it's kinda fun annoying them
by Anonymous13 years ago
...f*ck you, op.
by Anonymous13 years ago
thanks,I'm touched
by Anonymous13 years ago
you're welcome. Oh, and just out of curiosity, what are some of your favorite books?
by Anonymous13 years ago
I like books on fairy's and magic(not HP magic). Not gay vampires and annoying wizards.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Okay, that's fine. But Harry Potter is anything but terrible literature. I'm not going to hate on your books, so don't hate on ours.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Really? At least us HP fans don't run around crying about Edward and asking him to marry us.
by Anonymous13 years ago
People who dont read anything but the size on there shirt tag have a very bad taste in literature. So dont be hating us bookworms for reading cause we are the people who will rule the fucking world. Oh and who cares for Edward..... Jacob Black is the shit. And Ronald Weasley is the shit not Harry.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Someone go get Dumbledore, there's a troll in the dungeons. -_-
by Anonymous13 years ago
(Annoyed at this post): It's all horrible, I hate HP and Twilight
@370380 (goodfellow): heard that before
by Anonymous13 years ago
We all hear things we've heard before.
by Anonymous13 years ago
