What do you mean by "a while"? One or two days? Or a few months? You're probably a bit too concerned with your appearance if you remember what you were wearing when you saw a specific person a few months ago.

True story: there was this guy I would run into every few months(for a few years). Every single time I saw him, I was wearing the same shirt(ironically, one that I didn't wear too often). Every. single. time. We even had a joke that if I wanted to see him I just had to wear that shirt. Coincidentally, I lost that shirt a few years ago. Haven't run into him since.

I always end up wearing the same outfit every time I go to the orthodontist. I bet they think I only have that set of clothes and I'm so hobo that cares about tooth alignment. But, in my defense, they're always wearing the same thing when I go see them.

There's a couple of T-shirts that I really don't wear that often, but everytime I do, people happen to take pictures and put them on facebook. So a lot of the pics I'm tagged in I'm wearing the same few shirts.
