You remember when Arthur the aardvark seemed old to you, now he seems really young, amirite?
by Anonymous12 years ago
So THAT's what he was..
by Anonymous12 years ago
I don't get why people don't understand he's an aardvark. Don't you remember the spelling episode?

Haha, well yeah, me too.
I guess I just have it embedded in my brain.
A-a-r-d-va-r-k! A-a-r-d-v-a-r-k!

Haah, me too. That's pretty much the only reason I know how to spell aardvark.
by Anonymous12 years ago
He is not an aardvark! He's an anteater!
by Anonymous12 years ago
Aren't.... They the same thing?
by Anonymous12 years ago
(Chauncy Pickles): he is most definitely an Aardvark.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I remember the first Arthur book saying he is an Anteater and everyone made fun of his long snout so he somehow conformed to a more flat face.
by Anonymous12 years ago
(Chauncy Pickles): Aardvarks have snouts too, "8-year-old Arthur Read, an anthropomorphic aardvark"

Yeah. Let's trust Wikipedia.

(Chauncy Pickles): Fine http://www.pbs.org/teachers/earlychildhood/articles/arthur.html good enough?
Also the books mention that he's an Aardvark.
by Anonymous12 years ago
If you say so, but I could've sworn that the first book said he was an anteater, given the last time I read the first Arthur book was some ten years ago when I was in the... second grade.
by Anonymous12 years ago
(Chauncy Pickles): HE'S AN AARDVARK. YOU ARE WRONG. ACCEPT IT.

He still seems older than me, and I don't know why.

I remember waiting so long to be as old as Arthur! But by then I didn't watch it.. And now I do and he's so little!
