Yeah. My mom had only been gone a week. My dad was at work and it was my first time making myself an actual dinner. After I undercooked the hamburger, burnt the green beans, and added the wrong amount of water to the soup. I couldn't take it. Mom had always been the one to cook. It was one of the saddest moments in my life. I picked up the phone and dialed in the number I had memorized. "Hello," the woman answered. "You need to come home, mom. I know your supposed to be over there in Germany for another whole week but I miss you and I just wanted to know I didn't realize how much I truly need you."
