+421 Aren't there people in india who worship goats? so they must go like " oh my goat " instead of " oh my god ". amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You're an idiot. People in India don't worship goats.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

..Yes they do -.- trust me

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, they do, all the time. I live here. I know. :|

by Anonymous 13 years ago

do they worship cows too or am I just very confused?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They actually worship everything. Although, cows are most well known, because they are considered to be 'Mother of the Earth.' Also, it's not INDIANS who worship that shit. It's Hindus.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

err... not like cows... and certainly not all the time. Actually I have never seen that. I have only seen goats being sactificed on eed.... Do you really live there?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, I really do. :/ I think I would know.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

oh my goat i am heartly sorry for having offended you. lol u could do this 4 most prayers

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I feel another Usher hit song coming on.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No we do not worship goats... or pray in English.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

We have Gods too, you know. And yes, there are some people that worship goats. ._.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Indian's don't worship goats. And cows are sacred in India but not "worshipped." They don't like pray to cows they just refrain from eating meat made from cows

by Anonymous 13 years ago

they dont worship them, just respect them. and even the ones who do still worship gods. so o my god def applies. dont type stuff that u no nothin bout

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They don't "wroship" goats or cow, They respect them, and it is against thier culture to eat them, dumbass.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

wow, i hope this person knows how stupid they look, but what's even more worrying is the number of people who've 'Yeah, you are!'ed it

by Anonymous 13 years ago

PEOPLE, IT'S A JOKE! Most educated people understand that they do not worship goats, but their accent makes it sound like "Oh my goat" instead of "Oh my God". Get it?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, that's not it. Goats are respected in Indian culture, but people tend to believe they worship goats. It has nothing to do with their accent.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hinduism respects goats and cows because they give us milk and cheese and stuff. Just because they respect it doesn't mean they worship it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow, this sure makes the OP sound stupid. Hindus, like myself, don't worship goats, we do believe the cow is sacred, but we don't worship it. We just refrain from eating it's meat. The only Hindu god that is in the form of an animal is Lord Ganesha, which is an elephant.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you guys can't take a joke. lmao I'm definitely going to start saying "oh my goat" now instead of "oh my god", its less offensive and quite fun to say. Just imagine the possibilities: "Wow look jupiter just exploded!" "Oh my goat!!!"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

People it's a joke. Laugh and move on. If it offended you I'm sure it wasn't intentional. I repeat it's a JOKE!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's depressing to see how many people actually took this seriously.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh great, the British screwed up the original Indian accent when they ruled that country for about 200 years and the Indian people get ridiculed for it. Wow, this is a cruel world. Nice way to offend some people with your "joke", OP. <---- That was sarcasm, btw.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I want to laugh at you. Ha ha.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Those of you that don't understand why we're taking this seriously never had to deal with people making fun of you because of stupid misconceptions like these. Even if this person was joking, it's not funny when people actually believe it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

As an American I think it's bullshit that you think we're taking this as a joke because we're not used to people making fun of us because of stupid misconceptions like these. Lighten up. People who learn to laugh at themselves are often happier.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The misconceptions people make about me because I'm American are nothing compared to the misconceptions people make about me being brown/Hindu/Indian. That's why I wouldn't consider Americans' misconceptions comparable. But you might. I can laugh at myself, but I have a point where I draw a line, as do most people.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What a sick, cruel and hurtful "joke".

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Would you mind explaining why you think this is so "sick, cruel, and hurtful"?
