...Are we just talking in general, or...? Because if we're talking about the type of popular people that are ages 10 to 25 (and probably beyond these...), they're generally hated, but well-known. For instance, the popular people in my high school are complete morons with no self respect. For another instance (...ha.), Justin Bieber is popular. But a LOT of people hate him.
