As much as I have to worry about now that I'm in college and living in an apartment away from home, I much prefer this to my late Elementary years, Middle School years, and early-to-mid High School years.

Agreed. I am so over being told when to go to bed and not having money and not being able to go where I want and being told that I'm not mature enough for stuff and being chained to my parents.

My parents weren't as bad as most people claimed theirs were, so I guess that's a good thing, however my Dad actually taught at my High School, and was very obsessed with my grades, the way I acted, and many other small things that annoyed the hell out of me. Honestly, one of the best things that came out of growing up was being able to move away from my Dad. However, I was referring more to the fact that I (and hopefully a lot of other people) have grown the fuck up compared to Middle and early High School years in a surprisingly short time.

I'm pretty glad I'm a college age student. It's a lot better than what's coming after this.
