+781 Are children who act in rated 'R' movies allowed to see them, amirite?

No, they're not until they're 18... Unless their parents let them watch them in the privacy of their own home

I think about this all the time!! Like the random kid in the park in some horror movie where everyone is slaughtered/raped or something....I wouldn't want my kid to be in something like that...:/

It's really weird watching kids act in that kind of stuff. Like, being raped or kissed by an adult, even though it's acting..

The director usually makes an edited copy where the kids can just see the scenes they're in, but not at an R rated level.

I was allowed to see the movie I was in. And all of my scenes involved shooting people's brains out. Good times, good times. It's called KickAss . . . you might've heard of it . . .

They always do psychological tests on children in rated R movies to see if they can handle the gore on-set beforehand, I don't see why they woudn't be allowed to watch the movie if they've been psychologically proved to be able to handle it- as long as they have their parent's consent. The sex-ed films in fifth grade are still the scariest movies I've ever seen. XD
