+533 It would be ironic if ambulance/police sirens caused somebody with epilepsy to have a seizure, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

not all seizures are light induced. I have epilepsy and none of mine have been light induced.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

some people however have very serious light induced epilepsy like my brother, but a police light and siren is probably to isolated and too brief to induce an attack

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have epilepsy and please don't joke about it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

itd be ironic if it was ambulance sirens, but not police...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They're both supposed to save people though.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

um, it isnt the polices job to save people. their job is to capture criminals.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh, gotcha. So if a policeman witnesses a murder in progress, he should wait until the victim is dead to arrest the criminal, right?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

um, excuse me, did i say that police shouldnt save people? no. i said it isnt their job to. police are not paid to save lives like paramedics are, they are paid to enfore the law. all i said was it wouldnt be ironic... stop trying to fight.

Maybe a better word would be protect. Police officers are meant to protect the public, but by driving past a person with epilepsy, they are posing a threat. So, in a sense, it would be ironic.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

okay, i can agree with that sort of.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't find this funny, being epileptic.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh I'm sorry. We should delete every single seizure joke off the entire fucking internet. Just for you. You're just that special.

people like you are why some people have no hope in humanity.
