+208 Private school: The more you pay, the less you have to go, amirite?

Like my school, its really expensive and we only meet 2 or 3 days a week depending on what classes you are taking.

That is in no way the truth! My tuition is $12,000 a year plus $100 dollar book fee and I'm on a scholarship of $1,500 a year for every year I'm there! I live in Michigan where snow days aren't rare. Let me tell you: I go to school when public schools get snow days. We're lucky to get a snow day especially because I have 30 minutes of driving to school when the traffic is good. And if I miss a day for the hell of it, I have a crap load of homework to make up. You OBVIOUSLY have never been to a private school or met someone that has gone there in your life. And if you are/have, you need to think about how that works in the rest of the world.

Well actually I go to a private boarding school called Phillips Academy Andover (look it up, it's the one Bush and the facebook cofounder went to), where the tuition is 42,000 a year, and we don't have snow days either but we have 120 days of school vs the public schools who have 180. you may have actually just proven my point.

No way! I go to a 20k per year school and there are so many expectations and we get a crap load of work! I missed a week for a horseback riding competition and I practically died trying to make up the work. I live in California, so there are no snow days. Either you've never been to a private school, or you go somewhere totally awesome.
