+436 It's sad to think that when the Sun dies, then all of what we worked for and memories will die with it, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Don't worry, civilization as we know it will probably have died out long before the sun does... that didn't help much, did it?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm pretty sure that the sun will stay alive for 2012. Edit: I'm just kidding.

haha, it's a pity we only have two more years til the end of the world. Ah, well, at least I get to start college.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

nahh. By about 5,000,000,000 [or whenever the sun dies. Maybe it's 5,000,000?] we'd have developed technology to take us to a different, life-sustaining planet.

Or, more than likely, we would've died off, continuing at this rate, if you believe in evolution. Or, if you believe in God, then the Rapture would've occured by then.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

rapture? explain please

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Rapture: The event described in Revelations when God takes up all the Christians into heaven, before, during, or after the Tribulation.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

tribulation? o_O sorry i'm not really religious hahas.....

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Tribulation is the period that people keep saying we're in, but really they have no clue. Tribulation is basically the New World Order for eh 2 years, then God releases his wrath upon the world in a series of events, making life incredibly difficult for mom-believers. Like too hot to go out, pitch blackness, stinging locusts etc. This is also the time of the Antichrist whom idiots suspect to be Obama (which he probably isn't).

this post kind of depressed me I thank you. :/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Way to be cheerful. Oh, look, the comments are gray! Even better!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

all of our momuments would be destroyed too :/ great wall, pyramids...such a waste

by Anonymous 13 years ago

when the sun dies we die so nobody is gonna care about memories being lost since-- ya know we'll be...dead

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If humans haven't figured out how to colonize other planets/ discover how other habitable planets, then no one will care since we'll be dead, like you said. BUT, since we're not dead, it's quite sad if you think about it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I read somewhere that the sun was far too small to produce enough energy to die out. But one day we won't have a solar eclipse.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Nuh, our planet is rather insignificant. I don't think it's all that sad. But that's just me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What's truly sad is the possibility that humanity will die alone.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Before the sun dies out, it will expand into a red giant, taking out the three closest planets as it grows in size. One of them is us. So unless we learn to colonize another planet soon we're doomed.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's strange knowing how humans will die out eventually. All our technology and whatnot will be lost forever. Logically, all of our accomplishments and failures mean nothing in the long run. It's like working on a project for weeks but it turns out that it wasn't assigned at all.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This isn't necessarily true.
