Silly girl. You're only 16, wisdom about ANYTHING (yes, even love) comes with AGE. When you're 16, you're hormonal. You might deny it, but it's true. You don't know what love is, and don't say you do. You think you do, but when you're much older and married, you'll laugh at this stupid post and admit you didn't know what true love was. That's why all the great famous songs about love are written by OLD people. Frank Sinatra, for example? He's not necesserily old but he's old enough. Compare how real artists describe love to how Justin Bieber describes love, and you'll see...he has no idea what true love really is.

While I admit most teenagers know nothing about love and constantly claim their love for one another only to break up not long after, some have really found love. How do you explain high school sweet heats? Those who wait until marriage to have sex? Those who date for years? Just because you're 16 doesn't mean you DON'T know love, it's just that MOST don't and say "omg i luv him" after a month.

When I was 16 I dated this guy for about 2 years. Now I'm 20 and have only been dating my boyfriend for a few months but we've already moved in, in love and all. And looking back, I can obviously see the difference. I had more feelings for my current bf in a month than with that guy in a couple of years. Time isn't directly proportional to love, but age affects one's view completely.

Love is way too complicated for anyone to claim age has anything to do with it. However, the main reason the majority of 16 year olds don't know true love, is because there are too many hormones swimming through their heads. To distinguish between infatuation and love is difficult even for the most experienced of people and at 16 you're never going to be very experienced.

I think that some teens can be in love. However, if you're going to make a post like this, you're too young and hormonal to have ever been in love. Obviously there are different forms of love that everyone can feel, but there's that one kind of love that you need to be mature enough to feel. Justin Beiber does not sing about this more mature love, and that is that. People who are in love don't have to prove to the world that they are.

JUSTIN BEIBER'S A "HE???" Lol jk (not really, I'm shocked). Anyway, just the way you posted this makes you sound just like the teenager you are (and I am as well, so it's not criticism). No, being older does NOT make you wiser, but it does bring experience. You don't truly know love until you know heartbreak, and what it's like to lose that love. As a kid living under the roof of a guardian you don't generally have that freedom to get to know someone to the extent that true love demands. You aren't able to live with them, truly get to know them, and discover your differences, and it is those factors that decide if love is real or not. Dating, or an immature form of view on love does not truly appreciate what love actually is.
