I don't watch either of them, but I know Two and a Half Men was created before How I Met Your Mother, so really, Barney is a young, not so try hard version of Charlie....

Haha, I thought someone might point that out. I know Two and a Half Men was created earlier, but hypothetically speaking, if they were real people then Charlie would just be as i said.
