So let me get this straight. The fact that you would be able to live happily in any time era without being discriminated or even hated soley based on being lucky enough to be born with light skin while others wouldn't is "awesome". No dude, it's sad and disturbing and a shame.

No, you go forward in time because it's actually impossible to go faster than the speed of light. If you get close enough to the speed of light, the particles in your body will slow down as to not go faster than it, essentially making your life a slow motion movie. This would mean that, while you do not age, everything else around you is still going at normal speed, and when you stop, you will end up in the future...

Although, like I said,, it is technically possible to go faster than the speed of light, if you bent space time, and using that as a wave to push you faster. Even though you yourself wouldn't be going the speed of light, the space around you would be.

Pff I'd never change the colour of my skin. When I was about 5 maybe but now never.. The satisfaction you get in having to work twice as hard as a white person is unbelievably great... And I wouldn't want to be white after knowing the horrible traumatizing things That race has done to other races.. well if you look at the facts from history humans do a ton of shit to other humans based on skin color, religious beliefs, cluture, where and when you were born, and a ton other factors. oppression happens in almost every culture in every time period. when you look at it we often oppress our own peoples, not just those who are different from us.
