+29 Driving drunk is scary the first few times, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

But remember, girls, no alcohol...UNLESS THERE'S ENOUGH TO GO AROUND!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow...just...wow... Does no one listen to those infomercials about drunk driving? Really? Does someone need to get hurt for some people to listen?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Apparently not....I worry about my friends alot when they go out drinking but they think i'm crazy and say that i'm selfish or keeping them from having a good time. :( Well guess what people? YOU CAN HAVE A GOOD TIME WITHOUT THAT SHITTY ALCOHOL!! And tbh, i think if people get hurt because they were drinking and driving, then they deserve it, they were selfish and didn't listen to the adverts/infomercials or they didn't listen to friends/family about it. Plus, it'll teach em if they hurt other people with their driving, that would be something they'd have to live with forever.

Except drunk drivers don't just hurt themselves, they can kill innocent people. And even if you need alcohol to have fun, at least get a cab or a (sober) friend to drive you. I knew a guy who died while texting and driving, and I know and innocent women who died because she was hit. I'm pretty sure drunk driving is worse.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

They hurt everyone around them really, it'll cause fights with friends/familes... They have no clue how much they can hurt someone or a complete stranger with their driving. And yes, i agree with getting a cab or a sober friend to drive them home and help them get into their house alright. But i think alcohol should be REALLY expensive, then most teenagers or whoever can't afford to buy it, because it damages lives, friendships, familes, their bankbalance....everything really. It's just a waste of money and you're hurting your body as well with that shit..

If we got rid of guns, alcohol, drugs, or fattening foods, what's next? There's always going to be that thing on the top of the list of things that kills the most people. No matter what you get rid of, something will take its place. So what do we do? Keep taking away people's rights to do as they please (as long as they don't harm others)? Alcohol isn't bad if used in moderation and RESPONSIBLY. The problem is people who lack self-control, not alcohol.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That's the thing 99.9% of people miss on alcohol adverts, the word 'Responsibility'. They become so irresponsible when they've got that disgusting stuff down their throat, why can't they just drink water, soda, pop, juice...just anything but alcohol. I don't get how some people think sometimes, but i hope they make more adverts about how alcohol causes problems and accidents. They need to make more graphic adverts, something that hits people, and something that'll make them think about what they do to themselves and others. They really need to hit the nail on the head when it comes to adverts.

When I am drunk I am... I don't know its like I'm invincible or something.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Until you die. Try watching Hazing you dumbass. Learn that invincible people like you die and kill people every SIX SECONDS. Grow a brain. Or better yet, just drink it to death.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Unfortunately, that's usually how it works; the drunker (is that even a word?) you are, the more invincible you feel. It's called "liquid courage" for a reason...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The fact that people agree with this is sad. Also my Aunt is banned from both New Jersey and California for getting too many DUIs and never showing up for court lol

by Anonymous 12 years ago

voting on this post is like the wall of shame =p

by Anonymous 12 years ago

you should NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER drink and drive. Even though a lot of people have done it, hell, even I've done it. but that's no excuse. If it can AT ALL be avoided, don't do it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

IF it can??? Are you fucking serious??? Please explain to me how there's an excuse for your drunk ass to be behind a wheel. And if you killed someone, you would seriously pull the "well a lot of people do it" card? Grow up.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Maybe someone was having an asthma attack and someone had to take them to the hospital?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Too bad no one invented 911. Oh wait ..

by Anonymous 12 years ago

What if they didn't have a phone, and there was no place to get to one?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'm sorry that you feel the need to be so hostile, but I stand by what I said. You never know when there could be a situation where you'd have to be drunk and drive. Not that it would arise often, and you should avoid it at all costs. I'm not insinuating by any means that it is okay, or there is any "excuse" for it. And what the fuck are you saying, it's TRUE that a lot of people do it. How in the world is that me playing a "card"? It's not my fault that people drink and drive; statistically, a lot of people do it. That doesn't mean it's okay..? I fail to see where you're going with that. I feel as though you just completely ignored the part where I instructed one not to do it. It's very bad, and should not be done. Perhaps you are the one with some growing up to do. Twat.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Don't freaking drink and drive. It's not cool. Your just a bastard for hurting people and yourself.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

AAA offers cab drives late night. There is no excuse.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

What the actual fuck is wrong with you people? You seriously drive while high/drunk, know you're impaired enough to be scared about it, and then DO IT ANYWAY. I'm sure you would sing a different tune if you lost a family member to a drunken asshole. I seriously hope you all drive your car into trees. How dare you.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I agree wholeheartedly with this post. The liberal has painted drunk driving as something that is detrimental to society. However, after drunk driving regularly for several years, I feel it's safe to say I've trained myself to be, in fact, more alert whilst inebriated.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Go to Hell.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

"more alert whilst inebriated" is so oxymoronically retarded that I can't even come up with an analogy to juxtapose it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

If you're soooo convinced that the government is over-exaggerating the dangers of drunk driving, and you clearly beat the system, do tell why you're hiding behind an anonymous name. You're a pussy. And what about all those times before you "trained yourself" to be alert while drunk driving? Please do us all a favor and drink your precious alcohol until it comes spilling out your ears.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

GUYS. WE GOT A BADASS OVER HERE.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I know you're a troll because anyone that can use that kind of correct grammar and vocabulary would never agree with drunk driving.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

There's no excuse for drunk driving. Seriously. get as drunk as you want, but don't you dare go out on the road and put other peoples' lives at risk.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Driving sober > driving high > driving drunk.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Allow me to finish this post: "Drunk driving is scary the first few times", but eventually you become so depraved that you no longer give a shit about killing people, including yourself, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

....you've done it multiple times? ._.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'll drive as long as I'm under .08 and feel comfortable driving home.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Just wanted to point out that voting "no" on this post because you don't like the idea of drunk driving doesn't exactly send the message you want to people who are just reading this post casually
